Why it exists
Choosing a UPSC optional subject is one of the highest-stakes, least-reversible decisions in the entire preparation journey, yet most aspirants make it based on a friend's recommendation or a subject's reputation for being 'scoring' — without any structured way to weigh their own academic background, GS overlap, difficulty, and genuine interest against each other. What it is
