Free Booklets & PDFs
Why this feature exists, and how it helps
Why it exists
Many aspirants can't afford coaching-institute study material, and the free content scattered across the internet is often unstructured, low-quality, or contradictory. This page exists so every GS paper, Essay, Optional subject, and Current Affairs topic has one clean, topic-wise booklet you can trust — no paywall, no signup wall just to read.
What it is
A running library of topic-wise PDF booklets grouped by subject — GS1, GS2, GS3, GS4, Essay, Optional, and Current Affairs — each written specifically for the UPSC syllabus and updated as new booklets are published.
How & when to use it
Download the booklet for whichever paper or topic you're revising this week, save it to your phone or tablet, and read it offline during commutes, power cuts, or whenever the internet isn't reliable — then come back to the quiz or Mains sections to test what you just read.
Inspiration behind it
Govind Jaiswal grew up the son of a rickshaw-puller in Varanasi. Expensive coaching was never within reach — he prepared through government schooling and modest, accessible resources, and still cleared the Civil Services Examination on his very first attempt, securing AIR 48 in 2006. Free Booklets & PDFs exists so that cost is never the reason a serious aspirant can't access solid study material. Read his full story at /inspiration/govind-jaiswal.
